ENCISS provides Grants to its partners (central government, government agencies, CSOs, CBOs, chiefdoms, etc), to assist and build their capacity to undertake development projects. Funds disbursed through the granting mechanism are restricted to projects, events and initiatives which meet a number of defined criteria.(See Grant leaflet for more information).
GRANTING PROCESS
· Application (Proposal) is received and acknowledged
· Application is reviewed
· ENCISS judges every application against a set of assessment criteria before deciding whether to award a grant or not.
· The two main areas assessed: - your organization and your project proposal
· You may receive request for additional information.
· Processing of Application
· Letter to applicant indicating award / non award of grant.
· Signing of Grant Agreement
· Opening of Grant Account by Applicant (If Applicable)
· Payment of funds
· Implementation, Monitoring and Evaluation
