INTRODUCTION

The Government of Sierra Leone (GoSL) is currently pursuing two key overarching policy frameworks. These policy frameworks embrace both the design and implementation of the Poverty Reduction Strategy (PRS) and the reestablishment of local government and their responsibilities, including service provision.
